I missed the beginning of this thread, but I went through hell with similar problem. if you de-select Display Using Monitor Compensation in Photoshop's RGB Setup dialog box, and the problem goes away, then read this: Adobe has a page about it with a fix. http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/1e0ae.htm.
