I want hundreds of command lines that work.
Have you considered looking at accepted answers on QA sites?
SU has > 4500 questions: https://superuser.com/questions/tagged/ffmpeg
SO has nearly 19k: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/ffmpeg
Contributors to this ML answer on those sites, so even if you limit
yourself to questions with
answers whose answerer name you recognise, you should reach hundreds
quickly.

I can't discern between command lines that work and command lines that
don't work and command lines that used to work but no longer and command
lines that should work but haven't been tested or that have bugs.
I don't understand what's the problem?
I simply want ff* command lines -- any type -- that are known/proven to
work.
