I see about 42% speedup on Core Duo E8400 (36x to 52x) for a 5-channel file. On the same file encoded in DST, the improvement almost disappears (2.47x to 2.54x) because the DST part takes about 15x more CPU than the dsd2pcm part; would be extremely valuable to multi-thread that instead and leave the dsd2pcm alone. And this breaks my WavPack DSD decoder, but I guess I can't complain about that yet. :) > > _______________________________________________ > ffmpeg-devel mailing list > ffmpeg-devel@ffmpeg.org > https://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-devel > > To unsubscribe, visit link above, or email > ffmpeg-devel-requ...@ffmpeg.org with subject "unsubscribe". _______________________________________________ ffmpeg-devel mailing list ffmpeg-devel@ffmpeg.org https://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-devel To unsubscribe, visit link above, or email ffmpeg-devel-requ...@ffmpeg.org with subject "unsubscribe".
