I am almost entirely certain the first patch in this series is
wrong in some or many ways. Someone who knows the h264 code needs
to check over it before anything is pushed.
I am not sure of:
* The thread progress update is in the correct place
* The field number is set properly (via !=).
The 2nd patch in the series is the same as before.
