I installed Morgan MJPEG codec here and by default "test.avi" file decodes with inverted fileld order - to decode this file correctly one must enable "invert field order" option under "Decompression" and after that "test.avi" file decodes correctly, so it looks like this codec does not check automaticly if fields are in the correct order or not.
