Hi All,

I am reaching out regarding a possible FFmpeg related consulting job.

My agency, PXL Bros (pxlbros.com), is working on a web app for a major movie
studio where users can upload several images that are then compiled into a
slideshow. On the front end we are creating this slideshow as a HTML canvas
animation, but our client would like for us to allow downloading the video as
an option. To achieve this we will need to compile the slideshow server side,
and using FFmpeg is the obvious solution.

Based on example code that we looked over, we do not think that creating the
actual slideshow with FFmpeg would be too difficult - what we don't know is
what it would take resource wise to run this process as a service. Our team can
develop a web API that makes the FFmpeg calls, but we do not know the viability
of scaling this to a user facing site. What we need help with is writing a
script to create the slideshow with FFmpeg, and any insight on what kind of
hardware/how many servers we would need to handle incoming requests.

If you are interested, and if you are available to assist us with this project
over the next few weeks (we are aiming to launch the web app in about 2-3
weeks), please email me at m...@pxlbros.com. I understand this is a tight
turnaround, but we are hopeful that what we are trying to accomplish is
something an expert in FFmpeg would be able to achieve with relative ease.

Thanks!

All the best,

Matt Michalowski
