Aaron: we really encourage you to work on j2k, but we also encourage you to do so with a more liberal license (e.g. GPL, or possibly even LGPL) for the final product. AGPL is a bloody pain. Why do you want AGPL so much? Did the so-called loophole hurt you personally in some way? Or is this all theoretical?
