Yes, for that case we might need to weaken the protocol_whitelist a bit by automatically changing a 'file' whitelist to 'file,http,https,tcp' in the hls demuxer, at least for a transition period. > also code of this complexity should be in master first for a while > and be used and bugs ironed out before its backported Of course.
