I am writing on behalf of the U.S. National Park Service (NPS), representing staff who find ffmpeg/ffplay/ffprobe useful for scientific or audio/visual work. We work with ffmpeg both in the CLI and also as a way to extend file export in Audacity. We use ffprobe to quickly glean audio attributes.
Recently our agency adopted a policy which requires all software we use to be digitally signed. Does anyone in the community have the capacity to address this need? It would facilitate the mission of the NPS.
