Derek claimed that Thilo had some sort of alcohol-related issue. This was totally unacceptable behaviour, since he failed to provide any proof of his statement, nor of the alleged negative impact to FFmpeg. Nevertheless, this is not quite as bad as accusing someone of theft/embezzelment, which would constitute outright slander.
