That is why this discussion of extraction/embedding is happening here on
the devlist instead of moving it to Trac like the transcoding issue.  The
question is what do we need to do to demux/extract 608CC or mux/embed it.
The 608 is already encoded and does not need to be reencoded or converted
as embed/extract does not change the frame rate.  Thus some sort of
bitstream filter will be required and it appears like subcc may or may not
support passing the required information.
