For the "Extended" profiles, you can search for "JVET_AH0046" in the ref SW. Given that there are already many encoded videos with the "Multiview Main 10" profile, Apple has submitted a proposal (JVET-AJ0213 in Oct 2024) to bring back the profile into the standard.
Does decoding such samples not work as is? Profiles afaik only define constrains, not extra decoding steps. The existing code should be able to handle 10bit streams for both base and second layers.
