As the one basically in control of ffmpeg, it is and always was me who has to make the final choice. Even if i resign today i make a choice on who controls ffmpeg. About a timescale, theres not a single proposal. Short of simply resigning and handing FFmpeg out to some random dictator who picks it up. There is a resposibility here. I cannot and will not simply leave FFmpeg to whoever likes to pick it up You can keep accusing me of everything in the world but in the end you still will not control FFmpeg. We can work together and you can tone your anger down and then you will be part of the democratication. You have contributed through both twitter and now the asm-lessons. So you certainly have a right to be part of a democratication. But if everything from you is just bitter hate, then i think you should find something else where you are happier And either way, please stop posting so much negativity here. thx [...] -- Michael GnuPG fingerprint: 9FF2128B147EF6730BADF133611EC787040B0FAB Republics decline into democracies and democracies degenerate into despotisms. -- Aristotle
