Thanks for clarifying, I was going off of my interpretation
based on how I read through it last night. The nuance
makes sense.

What I was going more for is building a process around organizing
the events that is more formidable than an email announcement. Ultimately
I am trying to propose/focus on solutions irrespective of the nuance.
If such a process already exists and I am missing it, just let me know.

Administrative paperwork is not ideal but in this case a socialization and
approval workflow seems to be a reasonable "what could we do better"
retro action.
