I agree but i dont think 15k is enough for this work we have ATM ~3000 open and new tickets. If we assume that one could do 2 tickets per hour (obtaining test samples, discussion with user, bisect, ...) which honestly iam not sure one can do 2 per hour. Some will be very quick but some will take much more time. and at lets say 120€ per hour thats about a order of magnitude more than 15k I dont think my quick guess is off by that much. Even if iam off by a factor of 2 its still quite abit more than 15k. Something like this can and should be part of STF 2025 though. For the exact cost of such issue cleanup work, I think whoever is willing to do it has to say what (s)he needs the payment for it to be. If more than one person wants to do it, the cheaper person gets the task. Of course if someone wants to cleanup 3000 tickets for 15k, iam not against that. It just seems to me too little for the amount of work thx [...] -- Michael GnuPG fingerprint: 9FF2128B147EF6730BADF133611EC787040B0FAB No human being will ever know the Truth, for even if they happen to say it by chance, they would not even known they had done so. -- Xenophanes
