.needs_fifo is evil, it breaks normal scheduling and thus can cause unlimited memory consumption even in normal filter graphs. Why do you want to know? Is there a particular case that is not working for you? I have a solution in mind for the whole issue, but it is a lot of work, especially to keep compatibility during the transition. In the meantime, users can explicitly insert fifo if needed. Regards, -- Nicolas George
