When code is moved it should not be removed and added in seperate commits ideally so that one reading the commits as well as "git blame" and all can follow the evolution of the code easily so that the commit moving contains both the removial and the addition of the new code and one doesnt end with "ok this commit removes it now where in which commit is it added again ..."
