The open_cb() patch reduces the need for this in relation for
opening URLs but theres still a large number of other references
to options throughout the code in log messages which are unrelated
to opening files.

Thus the issue that this patchset would resolves is still there
theres code pointing to at least -strict -1, thread_type, coder,
qscale, crf, profile, sub_charenc, threads, mb_info, password, ...
