plane_count is actually not part of the bitstream syntax (it is computed from chroma_planes and transparency). Additionally, the definition (" LyX Document count of planes") is misleading (plane_count is 2 in the case of 3 planes, because the chroma_planes are counted as 1). So I plan to remove it and add a more clear definition of the count of quant_table_indexes in a future patch.
