Adding subtitles support must be done in a way that does not require all utility filters to be declined in a third variant: concat, showinfo, setts, split, etc., must be able to detect the type of their pads automatically. This is a hard task, but it is absolutely necessary to avoid the code becoming an even worse mess. -- Nicolas George
