Ahh, right. Am I correct in thinking that currently there is no command line way to globally override the default (interl=0) so that any auto inserted filters use the required settings? I see nothing in sws_flags. I am sort of thinking of a kind of partial implementation workaround where a file is probed and the command line auto constructed based on what is found, then provided the format is OK the default can be changed.
