They don't like the sulphur, either. I've heard it referred to as 'dog crap', 'cheese', and 'nuggets'. And some other less savory terms.
But you pull the sulphur out, you don't get the reflections, the water looks flat and dead. So the wallpaper doesn't work so well without it.
