I downloaded it via a dialup the first time I tried it, it wasn't so bad. If you want to try it, I can see two alternatives: 1) Download the ISO on the University's big pipe, or 2) I'll burn you a copy and send to you.. I use GPL1.0 here and have a VPN open to a friend also using GPL1.0.
