I am sure that you have your reasons for coping "to" an NT machine. Not being an "NT" guru, I would have to ask "Must the transfer be done in one chunk"? You did not say where the 8 gigs to be transferred resides. Having knowledge of the origin of the transfer may help in the answer, afterall, we are not mindreaders, are we?!
