Now I really don't understand. Why if Mandrake has permission to distribute
unmodified Pine or also the permission to distribute unmodified Pine with
patches or also the ability to distribute modified Pine as long as they ask U
of W, then why in the world is it not going to be part of the download or
basic distro?

What sense does that make? Why would MS want to distribute a stripped down
versions of what LM was in the past via dl or basic? Perhaps its a forrest for
the trees dilema.
