I quit about supermount a time ago and now I decided to use
autofs. I use a special kernel (with Mosix) but with autofs support. After
installed autofs that came with MDK 8.0 Cds I did:
in /etc/auto.master I put:
/misc /etc/auto.misc --timeout 10
in /etc/auto.misc I put:
cdrom -fstype=iso9660,ro,user :/dev/cdrom
floppy -fstype=vfat,user :/dev/fd0
then
mkdir /misc ; chmod 775 /misc
so
/etc/init.d/autofs stop ; /etc/init.d/autofs start
However when I insert a CDrom automounting doesn't work :-(.
I'd appreciate any help here.
