I moved about 18GB from a windows98/XP dual boot laptop to my LM8.2 machine
that has a 100GB unused drive formatted as FAT32 and is shared out with
SAMBA. All went well, so I reformatted the laptop and put Win2k, WinXP &
LM8.2 (5GB each with a 15GB common partition) on it's 30GB drive. Again, all
went well, so I moved all that data back from the SAMBA share to the common
partition. When it ran out of room, I rebooted from LM8.2 to WinXP and moved
a bunch of data from the common drive to the Win2k partition and pulled the
rest over from the SAMBA share. Now, (4 hours later) I went to look for some
of the data and there's about 4GB missing. I don't have a clue how this
could've happened since I moved everything and didn't do any deleting.

Anyway, the 100GB SAMBA share is untouched since that data was moved off.
Are there any utilities that would allow me to restore the missing data?

Thanks,
Barry
