Ok,
Take a stock Linux Mandrake 8.2 install with the kernal source/development
tools.
Go to /usr/src/linux
do a
make oldconfig dep clean bzImage
everything is fine
do a
make modules
and it bombs out with errors
same results with gcc-2.96 or gcc-3
I am trying to compile my kernal for a Athlon.
Does anyone know the step by step (from a brand new clean install) to get the
mandrake kernal compiled?
