Hey .... I can answer this one!... *grin* I've got the same one, and here is what I had to do. Configure the mouse with it installed directly on the computer(plugged in the back of the box not the kvm.) Start the box, and make sure it's working correctly. Without shutting down the box move the mouse to the kvm and plug in the mouse After you connect the kvm to the computer.... Mouse will now work (at least it does for me with the same kvm) However on occasion and for reasons unknown. It will stop. Usually after it's been in suspend for a while. Just unplug it from the kvm and plug it back in. It will start immediately. I've got a 3 button optical mouse working this way for about 4 months.
If anyone knows How to simulate the removal and reinsertion from a command line please let me know. Point to note if I lose the mouse on one box it's lost on all boxes. Until I re-insert on any one of them.
