Here's another little problem I'm running into. As long as I do not connect to the internet (via linmodem) on my laptop, my wlan card works just fine as an AP and I get a happy connection to a windoze box with a wlan box attached. As soon as I connect to my ISP via my linmodem however, the wireless connection dies and I start getting a lot of "Tx timeouts, resetting card" mesages and I am no longer able to see/ping the windoze client (or vice versa - the windoze box loses its connection).
The actually message that appears upon starting ppp0 is: NETDEV WATCHDOG: wlan0: transmit timed out hostap_cs: wlan0 Tx timed out! Resetting card wlan0: CMD=010b EVSTAT=8018 OFFSET0=0000 OFFSET1=0000 SWSUPPORT0=8a32 hostap_cs: wlan0: resetting card prism2_pccard_cor_sreset: original COR 41 prism2_hw_init() prism2_hw_config: initialized in 9112 iterations prism2_tx_timeout: wake up queue Looking at IRQs, I see the linmodem is using IRQ 3 and the wlan card is on IRQ 9 so it doesn't appear to be an IRQ conflict. I don't really know the source of the problem. My wlan card has 10.0.0.1 as an IP and via ppp I get a different IP from my ISP. Could there be a conflict somewhere there? Any ideas? praedor
