[expert] Need Property Assessing Software Recommendations

Hi everyone,   Do any of you have suggestions for Linux software to be used in an Assessor's office? They're currently using a DOS based commercial estimator program, but I'd think a conversion would be feasible.  Obviously free would be best, but even if wasn't that would work.  Perhaps a UNIX based package that could be used on Linux?  I tried searching the web, but my search skills are weak....  Thanks in advance.
