hi, had to change the motherboard, because have now more memory (256 M), but now got some trouble with hardwareclock, PS2-mouse, and USB-Port.
the motherboard is a VIA 62... the hardwareclock : sometimes I get a message in a console like that : error resetting clock ... maybe a VIA 62... problem PS2-mouse normally the box is only a linux-box. After changing the motherboard, the PS2-mouse was detected, but got no response from the mouse, so I installed an old Logitech-3-Button-mouse on the serial port. But have sometimes a lot of trouble with it. so I tried the motherboard in an old windowsbox, with win98 - but the PS2-mouse is running fine. Changing back the motherboard to the linuxbox, the PS2-mouse was detected, but the same result - the cursor is not moving. changing the mouse into a newone - the same effect - no moving but detected. last not least the USB-port - have a lexmark USB-Printer, the port has been detected, but with no effect - the printer is still very quired. is anybody there, who would have an idea, whats going on with this crazy motherboard ? am using md 8.0 any ideas and helps are very welcome ... indead thanks for helping hans schneidhofer
