How much space do you need (in gigabytes (or terabytes))?  What
constraints on speed?

Linux has various types of RAID built in (in software) and can work with
hardware RAID.

Depending on your requirements, this may be a solution.  (If you talk
more about your requirements, someone more knowledgable can probably
provide better advice than I can.)
