When this happened to me, the fix was replacing my trusty old Sony SCSI
2.4X CD with a 4X Sanyo SCSI. Nothing wrong except the installer doesn't
have patience for slow CD readers. I had no problem using the 2.4 to
copy the entire same CD contents booted to OS/2 or windoze.
