Hey there, The users do not directly log into the machine (it's just a router box) so the "who" command does not apply (and I knew that one already ;)) but the /var/lib/dhcp/dhcpd.leases was what I was looking for.
Main reason I had to check is because I don't want my room mates telling me that the internet was down for 3 weeks while I was gone and not paying for the month, but this way I can see that they were using it :) Does netstat -a show connections from the internal network? I see that it shows my connection via SSH, but not sure if it shows anything from 192.168.198.x Thanks! -- Leif Madsen - Project Manager Plan-Net Technologies http://www.plannettechnologies.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "H.McM" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, January 01, 2002 11:53 AM Subject: Re: [expert] Checking Who's Connected? > Hi! > > Try "who" at the command line to see who is logged in. > > To check DHCP leases, look in /var/lib/dhcp/dhcpcd.leases
