-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Have you looked at LRP (Linux Router Project) they have a new firewall image that boots from a CD-ROM so it includes support for IDE drives, and is designed to work in a "limited" environment. My firewall was a 486 with 32MB of RAM and no HD for over a year, until the machine died.
Check out http://lrp.steinkuehler.net/files/diskimages/dachstein-CD/ Kernel is 2.2.19-2, which is a little older than you listed. .....Rob ===================================================================== Robert Goshko Axis Computer Consulting Services, Inc. I attempted using Mandrake 8.1 and 8.0, and neither run quite as stable as I would like (mainly because it's a little bulky for what I'd like) I'm running a P100 with 32MB of RAM and a 2.1 GB hard drive. I'd ideally like just a small distro for this machine ( as I am running Mandrake on the client). I've tried the small single floppy distro's which work great, but I have unsuccessfully got them to access the HD as well (which I need so that I can run Apache) Any and all idea's welcome. I've been researching, but can't really find anything that I've liked so far. BTW: I'd also like to run 2.2.20 kernel.
