BUT I digress, I've seen comments lately associating Winbond chips with problems. I believe y'all are mistaken to link them to AMD/VIA, etc. mobo's. The i2c/clock chips on most mobo's (I'd venture 90%) are Winbond chips. Includin most all Intel chipset based boards.
