This is a good thing to do, but for those of use that don't reboot our machines. My machines are always up, the only time they go down is for power outages. So that wouldn't help.
But somebody else did mention tmpwatch. There's also dirwatcher. I've not used either one, I go through and get rid of things about once a week.
