Maybe you can use the 50-100 option just to get things working and then use
xvidtune 
to obtain the real parameters for your resolution. Be careful not to force 
your monitor, leave some black spaces in the borders and when your image is 
centered and stable on the screen write down the parameters given by the show 
button. Then go to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and use those parameters on the 
config file.

I usually do that everytime I install or reinstall  linux because the image 
isn't centered on my screen.

If someone knows a better solution I would love to hear it.
