When I first installed ML 8.1, rpmdrake worked as you would expect it
would, visually. When you install something (be it an update from a FTP
site or a local install from a CD or hard drive), it has these three
progress bars, which will gradually fill up as the install progresses.

Somewhere along the way, an update that I installed must of done something
weird to something else - because now the status bars just sit there during
an update, remaining completly empty. Which makes it kind-of hard to tell
how the install is going along - you have to just sit there and hope that
it's progressing.... :-)

Granted, this is nothing earth-shakingly serious, but it *is* kind-of
annoying. Does anyone (maybe at Mandrake? :) have any ideas what could be
causing this behavour? And better yet, any ideas how to get it to start
showing the install/update progress as it goes along again? :-)
