Hi,
I have a server running LM7.2. I had to recompile the kernel because I had a
little problem with my University LAN: From some machines (192.168.152.x) I
can't view my server (public IP).
The solution: to edit /usr/src/linux/include/linux/if_tr.h and put the line:
#define TR_RII 0x00
instead of:
#define TR_RII 0x80  (the original)
And recompile the kernel.
I will update to LM8.1 soon. When I do the update, it's neccesary to change
that line and recompile the kernel? Is it a problem with the kernel or with
the LAN of the University?
Thanks,
scar.
