Hello,

This is really odd.. I had gotten my 18G SCSI drive back from warranty,
fdisk'ed it, copied file systems from the IDE's I had been using over to
the SCSI drive. But, on the old system and on my server, the /tmp dir
has the sticky bit set, I cannot get the sticky to be set on /tmp when I
boot the system. I have to manually set it.

I assume that the sticky bit is necessary on /tmp? Why does /tmp have
to be sticky? How can I set the sticky on that volume?

TIA,

TomW
