I'm using VNC with KDE without problems... And yes, the java client is working. Try
./Xvnc -httpd dir_of_classes -httpport port
Then try to connect your browser to the specified port.
You should change /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers to add a line for a vnc server... Your line
should look like:
:1 local /usr/bin/vnx/Xvnc :1 -httpd dir_of_vnc_classes -httpport 5801 -geometry
:1024x768 -depth 32
Since the java client is slow, you should use instead a plateform specific client...

Hello,
Got it. Is anyone using the Java client that I hear of?
Thank you,
