Tom,

I need to retract what I said last time you wrote.  I have both a
BJC-5100 and a BJC-3000.  I've never tried the BJC-5100 on Linux.  It's
the BJC-3000 that is installed on a Windows machine and that has worked
when tested during the installation, but not afterwards.
