I gare!

I have been able to print using OpenOffice 632, installed from the binary
linux file, and cups ^_^ under Mandrake 8.0.

This is the situation and what I did:

A pentium III 800 with an Epson Stylus Color 760 conected to the USB1 port;
and a HPLaserJet 4L conected to the Parallel Port.

Cups installed; I have the two printers configured in the next way:
lp: Epson Stylus in 360 DPI quality
lp1: HP LaserJet 4L in 300x300 dpi quality
lp2: Epson Stylus Color in 180x120 dpi quality
lp3: HP LaserJet 4L in 150x150 dpi quality

Using ~/openoffice60/spadmin (./spadmin, is the printer administration of
openoffice) I created a Generic Printer and in the Properties I choose in the
Command page xpp (also qtcups run) as command --Select command options; usign
Configure as: Printer---

Now, when I have a document to print in openoffice, If I select "print" the
xpp menu (or tht qtcups if I use that command) appears and I can select one
of the four mentioned possibilities and runs fine ^_^; better than with
Staroffice 5.2.

I hope this could help to Moyne and other linux users with cups installed
(for example for most of Mandrake 7.2 and 8.0 users).

I think the openoffice contributors are working fine, with 627 it was
impossible for me to print, now, with 633 I can use the great possibilities
of cups; great work! :-)
