After installing the enterprise kernel, now vmware dosn't work. It says 64GB
memory not supported! Now I don't have 64GB memory. All I have is 1.5GB.. so
all I need is a kernel that will use all of that. As I understand, the
enterprise kernel support 64GB and SMP.. I don't need it! My machine is
neither SMP nor 64GB.. why should I use the enterprise kernel then??
Can anybody please tell me how to get the default kernel with 1.5GB memory
support? And why isn't mandrake providing a kernel like this? Its as if your
target machines are either desktops or 10GB memory machines! What about the
numerous machine with memory more than 1GB but less than 2GB?
Please help
thanks
