[expert] RE: SMP and AIC7XXX Broken????

Dear All,
        I am running an SMP Xeon system and tried to install Mandrake Beta 1,
however, when it reboots there are unresolved symbols in the AIC7XXX
Module and thus the Kernel Panics because I can't mount my root
partition.  I am using an Adaptec AHA2940U2W Controller.  ANy Help would
be greatly appreciated.
