I'm afraid I don't have an answer to that. But I have a notebook which
has the same prob. On the console it runs in 640x480 but the normal res
of the lcd is 1024x768 which works quite well in xwindow.
Just to bring that topic onto the market again: How could I change res so
that I could run mc or emacs in full screen?
