There was a question a while back on the rsync list (I think)
about updating iso images using rsync, thus keeping you from
having to load an entire 600meg iso image when you already
have the beta just before that one.

The conclusion (I think) was that the ISO supplier would instead have
to have the changed files available separately (i.e. in a dir tree
you could look at (ftp, whatever)).

Huh, you all ask, what in the world is this guy mubling about????

Well, I've got 8.0beta2 iso image, and there are 3 things I'd like to know:

1 - what files changed on the official 8.0?

2 - what's wrong with my just getting the new files and making my own
(bootable - yikes ;-) cd?

3 - what security and other issues are there that we should know
about as we upgrade or install 8.0?

(yeah, that last one is not directly related to the other 2, is
it. Ok, make the replies to that one be with a different subject!)
