I have set up a Mandrake 7.2 machine at work, mainly as a CD-
ROM server, and it seems to work fine. There is a glitch when the
machine boots, however.

After the first few lines of bootup messages appear on the screen, I
get a message saying "You passed an undefined mode number".
The machine then waits for 30 seconds and proceeds to boot up
and run fine.

I think this may have something to do with a video mode. The video
card is a generic Trident 9440 which seems to work okay.

Does anyone have any idea how I can get this error message to
stop appearing?

Thanks,
